Economic Girly-Man

I just had encountered this term yesterday and it kept me laughing. Governor Schwarzenegger of California used this term in the Republican National Convention. It sure was hard-hitting, from a manly-man, speaking of politicians who couldn't push through with policies that would help the state economy, well if it does help.

Maybe it just tells of how adept a person is with their economics, and how proportional their policies are with their popularity. And honest-to-goodness, the right answer to economic woes depends on when and where you are in history and how to improve on that than how convicted you are to one underlying thought. Its like trying to implement Keynesian economics in an environment of congressional fiefdoms.

Here are some of the top 7 Pinoy/pinay economic girly-men:

7. Collorum
6. People who don't believe in surveys but doctored their survey for their thesis.
5. People who have credit cards and continue to have credit... in sari sari stores.
4. People who rant about low wages but pretend to be drunk on the bus so that they won't pay the conductor.
3. Entrepreneurs who think a corporate secretary is a girl with nice legs and has writing skills.
2. Entrepreneurs who set up a business, wants you to help and says, "Kaya ito! Tara, kain muna tayo, libre mo muna."
1. People who rant a lot, incur income and then don't pay taxes.

How would we categorize the "wire-tappers?

I think wiretappers are more like spies than economic girlymen, but then if they caused economic instability, then just raise a lot of hell for ordinary people.
